You may be aware there is a softmod available for the wii. This uses an exploit in the wii's system software to enable it to book a backup disk. There are a number of limitations with this method: 1. Not every game is supported 2. It requires games be patched before they will play 3. The softmod will need to be reinstalled in the future once nintendo releases new system software. If you don't update your software you will be unable to play new games which require it. 4. Since the exploit will likely be patched in the future you wont be able to have it soft modded again. For these reasons I will not be offering softmods.

fyi: I won't try and sell you a chip you don't need -- if you have a first gen wii (dms, d2a, d2b) you can have a first gen chip installed for less: wiikey or openwii $50. If you have a second gen wii (d2c to d2e) you can have a wiikey2 or Wiizard installed for $80. If you would like to purchase a chip to install yourself I'm selling wiizards for $50 wiikey 2s for $60.
